Terms of Use
Effective 15 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Wedding Studio Cloud ("we", "us") for using the Studio Cloud apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, our websites and our cloud service (together, "Studio Cloud"). They also serve as the end-user license agreement for the app. By creating an account or using Studio Cloud, you agree to them. If you use Studio Cloud for a studio or company, you agree for that business too.
1. Who can use Studio Cloud
Studio Cloud is a professional tool for wedding filmmakers, studios, editors and their crews. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or make with Studio Cloud: footage, audio, photos, edits, films, titles, notes and profiles ("your content"). You give us a limited license to host, store, copy, process, transcode, analyze and deliver your content only to run Studio Cloud for you and the people you choose to share with, and to display the profile and films you make public in the Creative Directory. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared with others at your request and backups that are cleared on schedule.
3. Rights and consent
You're responsible for having the rights and permissions your content needs. This includes consent from the couples, guests and others you film, photograph or record where the law requires it, and licenses for music, logos and other material you use. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use.
4. AI features
Some features use AI to suggest edits, build films, write text, make images, repair sound and more. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unexpected. Review it before you deliver it to a client or publish it. AI features and AI-generated content are labeled in the app. When you use a cloud AI feature, the data it needs is sent to the AI provider described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Community rules and objectionable content
These rules apply everywhere you can post content other people see, including the Creative Directory, profiles, portfolio films, job posts, comments and shared pages. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post or share content that:
- contains nudity or sexually explicit material;
- promotes hate or discrimination, or attacks people for who they are;
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- shows or encourages violence or self-harm;
- is spam, a scam or misleading;
- impersonates another person or business;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- is illegal, or encourages illegal activity.
We filter content for objectionable material. You can report content or a member, and block members, from inside the app (on a person's Creative Directory page, choose Report or Block). Blocked members no longer see you, and you no longer see them, in the Creative Directory. We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules, and we may suspend or close the accounts of people who post it.
6. Credits and payments
- Credits are prepaid units used for paid AI generations and cloud storage. The cost of a paid action is shown before it runs, and every charge appears in your billing history.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged for money, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- We may change credit prices or what actions cost. Changes don't affect credits you've already bought.
- Payments between studios and couples (for example, through Stripe Connect) are between the studio and its client. We aren't a party to those agreements.
7. Services you connect
Studio Cloud can work with services you choose to connect, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and WordPress. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We aren't responsible for them.
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Studio Cloud. For example, don't try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, interfere with or overload the service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, resell it without our permission, or use it to break the law.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Studio Cloud and delete your account at any time in the app (studios: Studio › Account › Delete Account; editors: your account card from your avatar on Home; crew: Studio › Account › Crew Accounts). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is required to be closed by law. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to download your content.
10. Changes to Studio Cloud and these terms
We keep improving Studio Cloud, so features may change. If we change these terms in an important way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the changes take effect. If you keep using Studio Cloud after that, you accept the new terms.
11. Disclaimers
Studio Cloud is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Keep your own backups of original footage. We work hard to keep your content safe, but no service can promise it will never lose data or never be interrupted.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Studio Cloud is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law, or your content infringes someone's rights, and a claim is brought against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
14. App Store terms
If you got the app from Apple's App Store, these terms also apply:
- The agreement is between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- License. We grant you a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, as Apple allows.
- Maintenance and support. We alone are responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for it.
- Warranty. We alone are responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party about the app or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that the U.S. Government has designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Wedding Studio Cloud at legal@weddingstudiocloud.com or support@weddingstudiocloud.com.
- Third-party terms. You must follow any applicable third-party terms when using the app, for example your wireless data service agreement.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Wedding Studio Cloud is organized, in the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.
16. General
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right right away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Studio Cloud.
